From the author
The Roach is the Loz Alliance's Tier 1 main battle tank, wielding a beam railgun that delivers consistent damage at respectable range. It is slower than the Diamondback raiders but significantly more durable, and its sustained beam fire is effective against armored targets that skirmishers cannot reliably threaten. The workhorse of any early Alliance ground push.
