From the author
The Cold Fusion Energy Generator is the Tier 3 power plant, producing 1000 energy from a large footprint installation. It sits between the Fusion Generator and the Black Hole Facility in both cost and output, filling the Tier 3 energy gap for commanders who need substantial power before reaching the game's final tier. Its explosion is spectacular — build it somewhere defensible.
